Well hello, my dear friends and clients,
Can you believe we’re already halfway through the year? At Collier & Co, it feels like time is flying at warp speed. What started as a steady beginning has absolutely taken off — and I’m thrilled to share the latest updates, reflections, and inspirations from our ever-growing world of commercial interior design.
First Stop: CHICAGO!
I’m writing fresh off my very first — and Collier & Co’s debut — experience at NeoCon and Design Days in Chicago. And all I can say is… WOW.
What an exhilarating, humbling, and deeply inspiring moment it was to walk into those showrooms, introduce myself as the founder of my own company, and fully immerse myself in the innovation, creativity, and future-focused thinking that drives our industry.
With our two-year anniversary just around the corner, this trip felt like a full-circle moment. If you’re in the A&D or design-loving world and haven’t yet made the trip, I highly recommend putting it on your calendar. It’s held every June in Chicago — and if you’re planning to go, let me know. I’d love to host you in the incredible supplier showrooms I work with.

NeoCon & Design Days — The Highlights
These two events are the heartbeat of global commercial design over 3 days in early June:
- NeoCon is the industry’s mainstage, held at the iconic Merchandise Mart in Chicago’s River North neighborhood — just steps from the Loop.
- Design Days is its boutique counterpart, based in Fulton Market, with a more immersive and art-forward focus.
Some of the standout trends this year:
- Warm, muted tones: maroons, sage greens, buttery yellows
- Bold contrasts: deep purples, forest greens, neon accents, and high-shine chromes paired with natural textures
