Dear Friends,
It has been far too long — but here we are again, well into a new year. As we settle into 2026, I want to wish you a year filled with health, clarity, and moments of progress — both personally and professionally.
If the past year has taught me anything (beyond the fact that there are never enough hours in the day), it’s that we cannot show up as our best or most productive selves without taking time to refill our cups — and I’m talking about more than just coffee. The last twelve months have brought their share of personal challenges, including deep loss, and reinforced something very important: without our health, our happiness, our families and friends, and moments of joy, life moves far too quickly.
So as we continue into 2026, I hope we can all be a little more intentional about slowing down when needed — celebrating the wins, learning from the losses, and allowing ourselves the space to move forward thoughtfully and with purpose.
From a business perspective, 2025 was also a year of meaningful growth for Collier & Co. — not only in projects, but in personal growth, team development, and the continued expansion of our brand portfolio. There are so many exceptional manufacturers in our industry, and it has been incredibly rewarding to deepen relationships with suppliers who share our values, standards, and long-term vision — allowing me to confidently and proudly stand behind the solutions I bring to you.
Whether the project is Hospitality, Healthcare, Education, Corporate, or Large-Scale Development, we remain committed to working with you — ensuring you feel confident in the solutions you’re proposing and proud of the projects you deliver. Those relationships and opportunities grew significantly last year, and we are already well on track for an exciting 2026 and beyond.
A New Partnership: Emeco
One of the highlights as we move into this year is the launch of a new partnership we are genuinely excited about: Emeco.
Emeco was founded in 1944 as the Electric Machine and Equipment Company, originally commissioned to produce seating for the U.S. Navy during World War II. The result was the iconic 1006 Navy Chair — a lightweight aluminum chair engineered to withstand salt air, moisture, constant movement, and the demanding conditions of life at sea. Many of the original chairs from the 1940s are still in use today, a testament to their extraordinary longevity and craftsmanship.
In 2010, Emeco partnered with The Coca-Cola Company to create the 111 Navy Chair, named for the number of recycled PET plastic bottles used to make each chair. This evolution retained the strength and timeless design of the original while introducing a highly durable, sustainable material suited for both indoor and outdoor use.
For Collier & Co. — and for us in the Caribbean — this story matters. It allows us to offer products intentionally designed for harsh environments: pieces clients will often want to change out long before they ever need to. It may not be the fastest refurbishment cycle, but it is a business model rooted in integrity, longevity, and confidence — and that is exactly what we want you to feel when proposing solutions to your clients, whether for hotels, corporate facilities, healthcare, education, or large-scale developments.
There is much more to come on Emeco, but if you’d like to learn more or see the collection for yourself, please reach out — we’re ready to bring this brand to market.
Beyond Furniture: Complete Workspace Solutions
While furniture, flooring, and window shades often get the spotlight, truly successful workspaces and environments are built from a collection of carefully considered components working together.
Through our partners within the MillerKnoll portfolio, Collier & Co supports far more than seating, desks, and storage. We also provide access to essential ancillary products that play a critical role in ergonomics, comfort, and long-term performance.
One of the most important — and often underestimated — elements of any workstation is the monitor arm. A properly specified monitor arm allows users to adjust screen height, distance, and angle throughout the day, helping to reduce strain on the neck, shoulders, and eyes, while supporting healthier posture and improved productivity.
Through Colebrook Bosson Saunders, a MillerKnoll partner and global leader in ergonomic monitor support, we are able to offer a wide range of award-winning monitor arms and accessories designed to integrate seamlessly with modern workstations — from single and dual screen setups to more complex multi-screen applications.
Our approach is always to look beyond individual products and instead deliver complete, considered solutions that support how people actually work.

Looking Ahead: NeoCon & Design Days — June 2026
As we look ahead, one of the biggest events in our industry calendar is NeoCon and Design Days, taking place in Chicago in early June.
NeoCon remains the world’s largest and most influential commercial design show, bringing together manufacturers, designers, architects, and specifiers from across the globe. It’s where many of our key partners launch new products, share research, and help shape the direction of workplace, hospitality, and contract design for the years ahead.
• Design Days & NeoCon: June 8–10, 2026
• Location: The Mart & Fulton Market, Chicago
If you’re planning to attend — or are considering making the trip — please do let me know. I would be more than happy to help coordinate meetings with our suppliers and international teams so you can experience the products firsthand and continue to build and strengthen those relationships.
As always, thank you for your continued trust, collaboration, and support. There is a palpable sense of momentum across Barbados and the wider Caribbean, with many exciting projects and opportunities beginning to take shape. It feels like a moment where, by working together — designers, suppliers, contractors, and partners alike — we can put our best foot forward, champion the right products and solutions, and create thoughtful, long-lasting spaces for the teams who will use them every day.
There is room for all of us to contribute, to collaborate, and to raise the standard together — while still remembering the importance of balance, perspective, and making space for life beyond work. I truly look forward to continuing these conversations throughout 2026 and working together to showcase just how exceptional our region can be.
I look forward to many conversations ahead and reconnecting with you all in the months to come.
Warmest regards,
Amy & the Collier & Co. Team
